Developing Cooperation for Joint R&D&I projects between India and Germany

This website offers a matchmaking tool to discuss project opportunities and facilitate introductions between organizations (research institutes, universities, industries, SMEs, research labs) from India and Germany. It is a 1:1 networking platform. Meetings among participants can be scheduled as a video call in the B2Match at any time until end of February 2021. The Indo-German Science & Technology Centre (IGSTC) was established to facilitate Indo-German R&D networking through substantive interactions among government, academia/research system and industries, thus fostering innovation for overall economic and societal developments in both the countries.
Through its flagship program “2+2 Mode of Partnership”, IGSTC intends to catalyse innovation centric R&D projects by synergising the strength of research/academic institutions and public/private industries from India and Germany.
Participants from India and Germany are invited to submit joint project proposals in the research and development of innovative products and applications with a strong market potential and commercialization. (above TRL 3)
Scope
IGSTC's 2020 Call invites proposals from consortia of academia and industry from India & Germany under the thematic area Additive Manufacturing with the following sub-topics:
- New Materials for Additive Manufacturing
- Printed and Wearable Electronics
- Large scale Additive Manufacturing
- In situ Process Monitoring and Control
- 3D printing processes for biomedical devices and implants

Project partners are strongly advised, prior to submitting the application, to contact their National Contact Points in order to check the eligibility of their project.
Time Schedule
- IGSTC Call Launch Date: 4th December 2020
- Information and Pitching Event: 16th December 2020
- Registration, creation of profiles, booking and conducting virtual meetings on the Virtual Market Place until February 25, 2021 February 26, 2021
- Deadline for Call: February 25, 2021
- Funding decision: Tentatively 6-7 months from Call closing deadline (Aug/Sept 2021)
- Project start: Expected April 2022
